The Four Riders are the four highest-ranking soldiers in the Daein army. The first incarnation of the four riders was known as the Great Riders, and consisted of Gawain, Tauroneo, Bryce, and Lanvega. After Ashnard ascended to the Daein throne, Gawain, Tauroneo, and Lanvega resigned from their positions.
