Kotaff (Japanese: コタフ Kotahu) is a general in the Daein army who fought in the Mad King's War. He led an early Daein incursion into the territory of Gallia and took control of Fort Tatana, where he fought Ike, the Greil Mercenaries, and the Gallian warriors Lethe and Mordecai.

Role

Kotaff is one of the two bosses of Chapter 9, along with Nedata. He guards the chapter's seize point.

Personality

Kotaff believed in the superiority of Daein and its military power to the point that he insisted that Ike had only won his previous battles with them through cowardice and deception. He was very aggressive in his racism toward laguz and seemed to actively try to antagonize them.
