Erinys and a squad of four pegasus knights arrived in Agustria in their search for Lewyn and sought an audience with Chagall, who falsely claimed that Lewyn was held captive by Sigurd's army in Evans Castle; in reality, Lewyn was allied with Sigurd at this time. The squad launched an assault on Evans to free Lewyn, but she was stopped when Lewyn approached her and told her of his motives for travelling as an anonymous bard, his reluctance to return home and face his avaricious uncles, and his intent to continue aiding Sigurd. Erinys chose to remain with him in Sigurd's army, and sent a messenger back to Silesse confirming Lewyn's safety. ===Analysis=== | |||
analysis | |||
====As a unit==== | |||
Erinys joins towards the end of Chapter 2 as a level 6 Pegasus Knight. She appears as an enemy alongside a few Pegasus Knights to attack Evans Castle, and only Lewyn can recruit her, so it's recommended to warp him here, possibly with someone else to protect the castle, and put him in a position where he can talk to her. Her growths are the worst of all the girls in the first generation alongside Silvia, with her best growths, speed and defense, being only average at best, and she's the only playable girl with no Holy Blood, but her base stats are decent for her joining time and she has the ever-useful Follow-Up as a skill. Lances tend to slow her down and reduce her avoid, but luckily, she joins with a Slim Lance, which is essentially a more accurate and lighter Iron Lance, and can immediately use swords, which are weaker but help her against axe users and have very little weight. She's the first and only flier in the first generation, so she can traverse every terrain without any movement penalty and can easily rescue villages. She has good resistance, so she can fight mages better than other units if she can defeat them, and with her very high speed base, she is good at dodging in spite of her inability to use terrain bonuses to increase her ability to dodge due to her being a flying unit. | |||
Due to being a flying unit, Erinys has flaws: apart from not getting terrain bonuses, she is very weak to ballistas and bows, which can easily kill her. A hit with a ballista or an archer is fatal, so she should never be exposed to them unless she can finish off one of them, but not if they attack her in groups. Her defense is also below average, so she can't afford to take too many hits. Her movement also suffers, as she is not affected by road tiles, so she will fall behind mounted units most of the time. | |||
After her promotion to a Falcon Knight, Erinys gains stats boosts that include massive increases to her magic and resistance, access to A-rank swords and lances and can use C-rank staves. She also gets Adept as a class skill, which can help her offensively. While a high-movement healer is useful, there aren't many staves, and other units can use them better than she does. | |||
====As a mother==== | |||
As a mother, Erinys passes down her swords and lances to her daughter Fee. While her growths are poor, her children will be good regardless of the father. Lewyn can pass down the Forseti tome to Ced, which will give him incredible combat, while Claud can pass down staves, including Valkyrie. Fee will always have great speed and good resistance, and her strength won't generally be too low even with mage fathers. The increased magic growths from magic-based fathers can help her, allowing her to make good use of magic swords or using staves with more effect after promotion, particularly with Claud who will give her an extra staff rank. As Fee is a Pegasus Knight like her mother, she could use Nihil to remove her weakness to bows, ballistas and the Wing Clipper, which Alec can grant her. Combat-based skills can also help her in the long run, so Naoise is also a good option. In ranked runs, Fee will have more trouble gaining experience than Ced, but both of them will be useful no matter the pairing. | |||

Erinys was kind, honest and devoted to her work and liege, and by default trusted others easily, which Lewyn observed led to her being easily tricked as exemplified by Chagall convincing her to attack Sigurd.<ref>{{Cite|Ha! “ | Through me runs the blood of Silesse's finest pegasus knight! | ” | — Fee, on Erinys |
---|
Erinys (Japanese: フュリー Ferry) was a Pegasus Knight of Silesse, the younger sister of the Silessean flightleader Annand, and later the nation's queen through her marriage to its prince Lewyn. In Grann 758, she was tasked by Queen Lahna with locating Lewyn, then missing for several years, and found him in Agustria where the two subsequently joined forces with Sigurd of Chalphy in opposing the tyranny of King Chagall. Erinys and Lewyn were married, and in the aftermath of the Battle of Belhalla, she ruled as queen in the face of the Grannvale Empire's occupation of the country following Lahna's death and Lewyn's disappearance; she eventually died of a long illness, prompting her children Ced and Fee to depart Silesse in search of their father.
Biography
Erinys accompanied Lewyn and Sigurd back to Silesse following the death of Kurth and Sigurd's framing for the incident, and was tasked by Annand with protecting Lewyn and Sigurd at Sailane Castle.[2] In the Silessean civil war instigated by Lewyn's uncled Daccar and Myos, Erinys fought with Sigurd's army while Annand protected Lahna, later hearing of Annand's death at the hands of the Beige Ritter. According to Thracia 776, in the aftermath of the civil war, Erinys and Lewyn were married.
Erinys died in Grann 776, a year after her son Ced left to search for the missing Lewyn.[3]
Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War
Role
Erinys is playable during the first generation. In Chapter 2, she along with four other pegasus knights appear as enemy units affiliated with Agusti once Infini has been seized. She is recruited when talked to by Lewyn, turning the other pegasus knights into ally units in the process. She is playable up until the end of Chapter 5.

- In Chapter 2, Lewyn can talk to Erinys while she is an enemy, in order to recruit her.
- In Chapter 2, Erinys can talk to Sigurd once she has been recruited, giving no reward.
- In Chapter 4, before Tófa Castle has been seized, Silvia can initiate a conversation with Erinys by waiting next to her. This conversation grants 50 love points between Lewyn and Silvia, and 25 love points between Lewyn and Erinys.
- In Chapter 4, after Silesse Castle has been seized and if neither is presently married, Erinys can initiate a conversation with Lewyn about Annand. The conversation gives the couple 290 love points, enough to instantly marry the two.
- In Chapter 5, if she was paired with Lewyn, Arden or Naoise, Erinys can initiate a conversation with them after Phinora Castle has been seized. This yields no reward.
Analysis
This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience. |
As a unit
As a mother

Personality
Erinys was kind, honest and devoted to her work and liege, and by default trusted others easily, which Lewyn observed led to her being easily tricked as exemplified by Chagall convincing her to attack Sigurd.[4] She was rather naive, in matters of jokes and sarcasm[5] and in terms of romance, compounded by a mild lack of self-confidence relative to Annand.[6] As later attested by her children, Ced and Fee, she was devoted to aiding others in times of trouble.[7]
