The Bard (Japanese: バード Bard) is a class which appears in the two games in the Fire Emblem series that are set in Jugdral: Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War and Thracia 776. It is an offensive magic class with access to both light magic and the three forms of anima magic. They possess significant magical power, skill, and speed, but are lacking in defensive stats as with most offensive magic classes. The class is exclusive to two characters between the two games: Lewyn in the former and Homer in the latter; both promote to Sage.

- While there are no generic NPC Bards that can be encountered during gameplay of Genealogy of the Holy War, one of the title screen scenes in said game shows an NPC Bard affiliated with Velthomer attacking a Wyvern Lord.[1]
