Ichii-bal (イチイバル, Ichiibaru) is the bow once wielded by Ulir of the Twelve Crusaders, bestowed upon him at the Miracle of Darna after his blood-bond with a dragon. The bow is the property of Ulir's descendants, the heirs of the Jungby dukedom of Grandbell, and can only be wielded by those in possession of major Ulir Holy Blood.
When Jungby's Lord Ring, the owner of the bow, departed for the war in Isaac, he was persuaded by his daughter Adean to leave Ichii-bal behind so that she could have it on hand in case she found her missing major-blooded sister, Briggid. The two do eventually meet, to the north of Agustria as an amnesiac Briggid flees her former subordinates, the Orgahil pirates. Briggid is initially disbelieving of Adean's claims as to her identity, so Adean gives her the Ichii-bal to use as a test. Drawing the bow reawakens Briggid's lost memories, and she joins Adean in Sigurd's forces and continued to use the Ichii-bal for the rest of her time with them.
After the Battle of Barhara, the Ichii-bal is inherited by Briggid's son Faval, who eventually comes to be employed as a mercenary by Bloom until his sister Patty convinces him to leave Bloom's employ and join Seliph's liberation army.
Millennia later, the bow comes into the possession of the Gimle Cult, and is given to its reincarnation of the Dark Warlord Fünf. By this point, the bow is no longer sealed to the Ulir bloodline and is capable of being used by any archer of reasonable skill.
