“ | I'll be fine... as long as I have Siglud at my side. | ” | — Diadora, to Ethlin |

Diadora (ディアドラ) was the daughter of Cigyun and Prince Kurth, possessing her father's full Naga Holy Blood as well as the minor Loptous holy blood of her mother. As a living descendant of Saint Maira and a bearer of the Loptous bloodline, Diadora lived much of her life secluded in the Spirit Forest of Verdane under close observation, to try and prevent the bloodline's spread to the outside world; nonetheless, she eventually left the forest and travelled to Marpha Castle, where she met Siglud, the man who would become her first husband. Some time after giving birth to their son, Celice, Diadora was kidnapped by Manfroy of the Lopt Sect, who brainwashed her and took her away to Barhara.
At Barhara, Diadora was introduced to her grandfather King Azmur, and to Lord Alvis of Velthomer, her half-brother from Cigyun, with whom she fell in love and eventually took as her second husband, mutually unaware of their relationship; this made Alvis next in line for the throne of Grandbell following Kurth's death. With Alvis, she had twin children: Yuria, who inherited her Naga blood, and Yurius who, exactly as Manfroy had schemed, now possessed full Loptous holy blood and could function as a vessel for the revival of Loptous himself. Years later, when Manfroy presented Yurius with the Loptous tome, Diadora defended Yuria from Yurius's assault against her under the influence of Loptous, and was killed for her trouble; with the last of her strength, she warped Yuria as far away from Barhara as possible.
Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War
Role
After conquering Marpha Castle, Siglud found a ruffian harassing Diadora within its grounds, stepped in to stop him, and the two became instantly enamoured with each other; Diadora mentioned that she had met Adean during her time in the castle and heard stories about Siglud, and that she was pleased to find that they were all true. However, because of this, Diadora fled Marpha to return to the Spirit Forest, heeding the warnings given to her throughout her life. Later, as Siglud's army marched into the Spirit Forest toward Verdane Castle, now controlled by Sandima of the Lopt Sect, she appeared before him to offer her Silence staff in order to counter Sandima's powerful dark magic, and to confess her strong love for him. The two married after Sandima's defeat and the reclamation of Verdane.
Diadora stayed with her husband through his skirmish with Agustria, and after the conflict died down, revealed to him that she was pregnant with his son. In the next year, she gave birth to said son, Celice Baldos Chalphy. Some time after Celice's birth, while Siglud's army departed to combat the sudden violence from Agustria's King Chagall, Diadora stayed behind in Agusty Castle to take care of Celice. Some time into the conflict, she felt suddenly compelled to leave Agusty and see Siglud, and departed to do so, entrusting Celice to Shanan; however, she was intercepted by Manfroy, who hypnotised her and took her away.
Devoid of all of her memories, Diadora was taken to Barhara, where she met her grandfather Azmur for the first time and eventually married Alvis. Some time later, when Siglud's army returned to Barhara expecting to be welcomed, Alvis had Diadora brought out after revealing his intent to execute Siglud. With Alvis telling her that Siglud was the man responsible for her father's death, Diadora was confused by a strange feeling of familiarity with the man, but was taken away by Alvis's men before she could do anything about it. At some point in the intervening years, Diadora gave birth to Yurius and Yuria, and came to learn of her former marriage to Siglud though she never recovered her memories; even so, she didn't hate Alvis for his role in killing him[1]. Eventually, when defending Yuria from Yurius's Loptous-influenced onslaughter, she teleported Yuria far away from Grandbell, putting up no resistance to being killed herself[2]
Years later, after Alvis's death, the ghosts of Diadora and Siglud appeared before a now-adult Celice at a lake to Chalphy's south. Diadora's ghost said she was proud of how Celice had grown up, but worried about Yuria and Yurius.
In gameplay, Diadora is the only character of the first generation who does not permanently die when defeated in battle; if this happens, she is found captured upon the seizing of the chapter's final castle and returns to be playable in the next chapter as if nothing ever happened, stating she was merely captured by the enemy. She leaves the party partway through Chapter 3.

- ↑ "In the end, although Diadora never recovered her memory, she did discover that Sigurd was her husband, but she didn't hate Alvis at all. When her own son Julius was about to kill her, she didn't show any resistance, which is due to her subconsciously trying to repent for her crime. Regarding Diadora's character, there are many ways one could judge her, but as for this issue, it is still too early to draw a conclusion." - Designers' notes from a Seisen no Keifu playing guide, as translated by Serenes Forest
