Sound and music
There exists an extensive collection of unused music in the game's sound/strm directory; out of the game's 172 music files, at least 63 are unused. Some of it is a series of alternate takes on songs which made it into the finished game, others are touched-up versions of songs from Path of Radiance, and a small few are entirely original compositions.

Two versions of an arrangement of Alm's near-victory map theme from Fire Emblem Gaiden. There is very little difference between the two.
