Saar (Japanese: ザール Saar) is a boss appearing in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. He is a member of Grado's Serafew Border Guard.

Role
Saar is the the boss of chapter 5. Glen tasks Saar to locate Eirika, whose army has recently arrived in the area, as well as deal with a turncoat cleric also rumored to be in the area. Saar ends up failing in these tasks, with Eirika and her army rescuing the turncoat cleric and ultimately defeating him.

Personality and character
Saar, when given orders by Glen, speaks formally and properly to his superiors. He has no objections to executing Natasha but he does make sure it is approved by Glen before attempting to do so.[1] Saar appears incredibly loyal to Grado in all his dialogue and actions.
Saar is cited as a blackheart by the locals of Serafew.[2] Serafew's Renais-native citizens have been submitted to atrocities that Saar appears to be complicit with.
