===Analysis=== | |||
analysis | |||
Ivy joins in Chapter 11 as a level 17 Wing Tamer. Boasting high stats and access to flight and staves, Ivy joins with immensely powerful tools. After returning to the Somniel, the shop restocks on Master Seals, so it would be wise to promote her as soon as you can. Ivy's bulk is surprisingly high as a mage, despite the bow weakness. With 34 HP and 14 defense in Lindwurm, and keeping an eye out for enemy Archers, Ivy will be able to take many hits during maps. If the player forges her a lighter tome for her, she can start doubling enemies early with help from Lyn. | |||
Ivy's specialities do not just lie in tomes. Her unique classes allow her to also wield staves, similar to her sister. With access to staffs she can provide helpful utility if the player decides to focus on another mage for combat. Lindwurm is able to use up to B rank staves such as Recover, Rescue, and Warp. | |||
Emblem-wise her best option would be Lyn. Her speed may prove difficulty to maintain, however the boosts from Lyn can keep her doubling enemies throughout the game. Another good option would be Celica, as the boost in magic combined with a powerful Thoron would let her obliterate enemies without the need to double. | |||
In general, regardless of if the player wants to focus on her combat, Ivy can prove to be a capable asset to any team. | |||

Analysis
This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience. |
Fire Emblem Heroes

---|
“ | Ivy: What a pleasure it is to see you up close, Divine One. Alear: That ring should be in Lythos Castle. Return it. Ivy: Hm-hm! If I say no, will you come nearer? |
” | — Ivy as an enemy, when fighting Alear in Chapter 8. |
---|
“ | Ivy: My father's orders were plain. You will not pass. | ” | — Ivy as an enemy in Chapter 9. |
---|
“ | Corrupted Hyacinth: Ivy. Ivy: Father. I've not seen you since we were at the Brodian border. That was our in farewell. In this life, at least. Corrupted Hyacinth: It need not be. I can appeal to Lord Sombron-ask him to welcome you back as our ally. Ivy: No. You are...not you. I will not cling tearfully to my father's shadow. But I am grateful for this. Grateful for the chance to thank you, say goodbye, and tell you that as Elusia's queen...I will surpass you. |
” | — Ivy fighting Corrupted Hyacinth in Chapter 17. |
---|
“ | You have always been my source of strength. Allow my faith, just this once, to be yours. | ” | — Ivy in Chapter 26. |
---|
“ | Ivy: It feels a little strange to fight you. I'm reminded of my father and all that happened. Lyn: Oh? I'm rather happy about this fight myself. Facing someone as skilled as you is a pleasure. Ivy: If only he had been so encouraging. Very well, let's begin. |
” | — Ivy and Lyn in The Lady of the Plains. |
---|
“ | If you've come to stop the ritual, don't worry. I'll ensure you find nothing but death here. | ” | — Corrupted Ivy in Fell Xenologue 4. |

“ | Corrupted Ivy: Are you...the Divine Dragon? Did the ritual to resurrect you in Lythos actually work?! Alear: It's complicated. I'll explain when this battle's over and you're ready to listen to reason. Corrupted Ivy: It isn't fair! The Divine Dragon is returned to life while Lord Sombron languishes in death?! No follower of the Fell Dragon will tolerate this. Elusia will not stand for it! The ritual must be completed. The Fell Dragon's power and glory must be restored. I will see it done with my own hands! |
” | — Corrupted Ivy against Alear in Fell Xenologue 4. |
