Elfire (Japanese: エルファイアー Elfire) is a recurring fire tome which debuted in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light and is present in all games except Fire Emblem Gaiden, its remake Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, Fates and Three Houses. It is a spell which summons a pillar of fire around the foe.
Elfire is an advanced version of the basic Fire tome, and in games which feature the three separate schools of anima magic, it is the second "stage" of the hierarchy of fire magic, the counterpart to Elthunder and Elwind, and is itself surpassed by Arcfire and Bolganone. In games featuring anima magic or tomes in general only as a generalized weapon level, it is ranked as a medium-level tome.

Trivia
- Unlike its counterparts Elwind and Elthunder, Elfire is the only one of the three "El" tomes in Genealogy of the Holy War to both reappear in Thracia 776 and whose icon and spell animation were not repurposed for a personal weapon in said game.
