Plot

Main article: The Capital Falls/Script

As the Dolhr army lays siege to Millennium Court, the King of Archanea gives orders to Boah to escort Princess Nyna out of the castle. Along with a retinue of four knights, the group attempts to flee the castle, but are cornered by Dolhrian troops and are forced to fight their way out. The fighting is ended by the arrival of Camus, who negotiates for the peaceful surrender of the Archaneans, promising to head the occupation force so as to protect the country's people.

Strategy

In Archanea Saga, Midia, Dolph, and Macellan have high enough defense stats to survive multiple rounds of combat on enemy phase, provided they are healed during player phase. Nyna, Boah, and Tomas can withstand two rounds of combat from any of the nearby enemies, but they cannot retaliate. Midia can double the Knights with her Iron Lance, and her Silver Lance if she gains one point of speed from a level-up. Dolph and Macellan both take little damage from the Knights and Archers; the Mages can deal significant damage to them, but they generally have enough HP to survive a round of combat with a single Mage.

The Armorslayer in the southern chest is unnecessary; Midia is the only one who can use it, but she has to dismount to do so, and giving her the Power Ring from the center chest allows her to one-round the Knights with an Iron Lance. The Knights by Gouber do not move and take 5 damage from Dolph and Macellan's Javelins and 9 damage from a crit from Tomas; Gouber does not move either, and though he takes no damage from most attacks, he has no 2-range option and both Nyna and Boah can double him with the Thunder from the north chest. The reinforcements that arrive once Gouber dies appear randomly, but they are no stronger than the first enemies and there are fewer of them, posing very little overall threat.
