Soulful Bridge (Japanese: ソウルフル・ブリッジ Soulful Bridge) is the eighth chapter of Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem Book II and Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem.
Plot
- Main articles:
Soulful Bridge/Script and Soulful Bridge/Conversations
Marth's army moves onto Chiasmir Bridge, and Marth meets with Cain, who rides in from the north. Cain informs Marth that the Archanean army has secured the northern bridge and that Hardin himself is leading it. Marth suggests breaking through that army, but Cain warns him that Hardin is protected by a mysterious power and cannot be defeated, so the only choice left is to seize the north-western fort and escape by ship to Khadein.
The battle begins, and as it progresses, Hardin arrives while leading a group of trained soldiers. Once Marth's army reaches the fort, Marth or Gordin can talk to Jeorge and convince him to join Marth's side, as Jeorge believes Hardin has corrupted Archanea. Marth seizes the fort and escapes with his army by ship to Khadein, as planned.
