Appearance(s)

The important thing is just whether you can throw the dice or not when the time comes. Life doesn't give you the chance of using everything you've piled up with a bang, y'know.
— Dice, to Kris

Dice (Japanese: ダイス Dice) is a wandering mercenary of Archanea, working in partnership with his daughter Malice to raise money to pay off his gambling debts. In the early days of the War of Shadows, he and Malice were involved in a bandit raid on the Dolhr/Grust-occupied Pales, and after the war's conclusion were hired to join a rebellion in Talys, but were convinced by Ogma to stand down. Later, in the War of Heroes, they encountered and joined Marth's forces in Khadein.

Fire Emblem: Archanea Saga

Role

Dice and Malice had been hired by Vaam's bandit group in their raid on Pales, and the two were disappointed to find that Vaam's group were relentless in their desire to kill anyone in their way. They were approached by Rickard, who was leading another band in a separate raid on Pales, who convinced them to join his group for a down-payment of 1000 gold.
