Trivia
- Despite being renamed in the Japanese version of Shadow Dragon in comparison to the original game and Mystery of the Emblem, Hollstadt is referred to as HORSTATTE internally, which is closer to his original name, and his English name comes from his original name.
- It is implied Hollstadt is a member of the Sable Order; the Paladins around him are labeled Sable in Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, and he uses a black color scheme in that game.
- Hollstadt has an unused color scheme in Mystery of the Emblem depicting him with a very dark purple palette. In the final game, his color scheme is shared with Jiol.
