The Lycian League, commonly known as Lycia, is one of the countries of Elibe in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade and Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. Located in the center of Elibe, it shares borders with Etruria, Ilia, Sacae and Bern. Lycia was founded by Roland, one of the Eight Legends.
Lycia is conformed by several small territories knows as marches. The known marches are Araphen, Badon, Caelin, Cornwell, Kathelet, Laus, Ostia, Pherae, Ryerde, Santaruz, Tania, Thria, Tuscana and Worde. Each march is ruled by a house. House Ostia is the most powerful march, and its lord acts as a head figure for Lycia.
This country is the third power in Elibe, after Etruria and Bern. During the years there have been some power conflicts within its borders; the most known was lead by Lord Darin of Laus during the events of Blazing Sword. However, during The Binding Blade, most of the Lycian lords are ambushed and killed in Araphen during an ambush attack of Bern, which greatly damages Lycia's stability. The mentioned instability leads to a rebellion in Ostia, prompting Lycia to ask the help of Etruria.
After Bern is defeated, Lady Lilina of House Ostia becomes the queen of a unified Lycian League and changes its name to Kingdom of Lycia. The only marquesses known to be alive when this happens are Eliwood[1] and Roy of House Pherae. If Roy has an A support with Lilina, he becomes King of Lycia.
Known leaders of Lycia are Roland, after The Scouring; Uther, in Blazing Sword; Hector, after Blazing Sword; Eliwood, in The Binding Blade, and Lilina, after the events of The Binding Blade.
