“ | I haven't given up, Nanna. Lord Lewyn said that our mother is still alive. We can go look for her together once this war is over. So don't cry... | ” | — Diarmuid |

Diarmuid (Japanese: デルムッド Delmud) is a prince of the Agustrian state of Nordion, and the eldest child of its princess Lachesis; his father's identity is unknown, but through his possession of the Beo's Sword is hinted to be the mercenary Beowolf. He was separated from his mother and raised in the Isaachian village of Tirnanog in the aftermath of the Battle of Belhalla, alongside Seliph of Chalphy and under the care of Oifey and Shannan. He was later one of the first members of Seliph's liberation army in Grann 777.
Canonically as defined by Thracia 776, Diarmuid is most likely Beowolf's son; however, in the gameplay of Genealogy of the Holy War, Diarmuid's father can be chosen just like any other character, and the game is non-specific about his father. If Lachesis was not married in the course of the first generation, Diarmuid's role is filled by Tristan.

Fire Emblem: Thracia 776
Role
At the climax of the Friege siege of the newly-reclaimed Leonster Castle, Diarmuid arrived with Seliph's army to launch a counter-attack against the Friege army and assist Leif's beleaguered army. Diarmuid was sent into the castle as a messenger to Leif, entrusting to him a letter stating Seliph's plan to assault Alster, and subsequently escorted Leif to meet with Seliph and reunited with Nanna. After Leif and Seliph's meeting concluded, Diarmuid transferred into Leif's army to continue to aid Nanna.
