In this chapter, you must choose between Arran and Samson, two mediocre pre-promotes. Samson (in the right village) has more attractive base stats, but Arran (in the left village) is packing better equipment. The choice is yours. You also get Xane, a wonky but effective unit whose gimmick is transforming into other units for five turns. | |||
Your first order of business is to kill the Dracoknights and send your cavalry in a mad dash west to kill the Thief before he levels a village on Turn 5. You also want to park some units on the northwestern forts to block off enemy reinforcements, although that shouldn't be too hard. Once the villages are safe, wipe out the first wave of cavalry and save. | |||
