Smash Brethren 2 (Japanese: 紅対蒼 蒼炎編 Red vs. blue: Blue flame chapter) is a downloadable content xenologue chapter in Fire Emblem Awakening. As a xenologue chapter, it does not officially bear a chapter number; if all xenologues are purchased and its list is viewed at the Outrealm Gate, Smash Brethren 2 is the eleventh one from the top in the North American version of the game. Officially in Japan and unofficially in North America, Smash Brethren 2 is part of the first series of DLC releases, a distinction that does not exist in the PAL regions.

This chapter was first made available on June 6, 2012 in Japan, March 21, 2013 in North America, and July 25-26 in the PAL regions. PAL region players who purchased the Smash Pack prior to Smash Brethren 2's offical release were able to play the chapter a week early.
In this chapter, the tides have turned against the forces of Tellius as the forces of Elibe have teamed up with forces of Magvel. The Shepherds must now take on the combined forces of Elibe and Magvel.

Old Hubba meets Chrom and the Shepherds as they travel to the same Outrealm as in Smash Brethren 1; Hubba has convinced one of the Einherjar armies the Shepherds are their allies. The Elibian–Magvelian army begins to attack the Tellian army; Chrom arrives and speaks with Elincia confirming the two are allies. After battle, Chrom receives an Einherjar of Eirika—from Elincia if she survived the battle, or from Robin if not.
