A group of assassins led by Clarisse sets out to kill every one of Marth's former allies in the War of Shadows, starting with Wrys. As the Altean army approaches to save him, Katarina warns her not to underestimate Marth's forces. Marth and his allies successfully drive off the assassins and rescue Wrys, who offers to shave Kris's head bald.

Wrys starts off dead smack in the middle of the map with a Knight and Archer driving him into a pincer. If they catch up to him, he's getting penned in the dead book. To avoid this, you need to butcher the five men closest to you on turn 1 and send in a Pegasus Knight to kill Wrys' pursuers on turn 2. Palla can easily pick off the northern Archer and save Wrys, so the problem lies in killing the 9 Speed Knights and the distant Archer to the south. If Marth has 13 Speed and a decently forged Rapier, he can take care of one of the Knights. Cavalier Kris can dart in and kill the southern Archer, and two solid units can tag team one more Knight. This leaves you in a pickle, as none of your other units are likely to be able to reliably deal with the last Knight. You can reclass Arran to a Sniper and bank on a 12% crit, or you can use the Master Seal to promote one of your units early for a significant power boost. Either way, once they are taken care of, you can deal with Wrys' pursuers and take the east half of the map at your own pace.
