“ | Holland, no! You idiot! Now you'll never get to see your wife again or meet your new child... I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Families never stay together... | ” | — Severa, if Holland dies |
---|
Holland (Japanese: ホラント Holland) is a villager unwillingly working for Nelson in paralogue 10 of Fire Emblem Awakening.
Fire Emblem Awakening
Role
Although given enemy status by the game, Holland's role is more similar to that of a neutral character; in order to recruit Severa, she must be safely escorted to Holland in order to let the two of them talk. If this happens, Holland will leave the map, and Severa will join the Shepherds. Should Holland be killed while Severa is still a green NPC, Severa will then become an unrecruitable enemy unit herself.
Holland unwillingly working for Nelson stems from the fact that he needs Nelson's coin to support his pregnant wife. Severa convinces Holland to leave by telling him that his unborn child deserves better out of a father.
