Gazzak (Japanese: ガザック Gazak) is the leader of band of the Galder pirates invading Talys. Gazzak is notable as the very first boss in the history of the Fire Emblem series, being the boss of chapter 1 of Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light; he would later serve as the boss of the same chapter in the remakes, Mystery of the Emblem Book 1 and Shadow Dragon. Gazzak led his band from Galder Harbor to invade Talys Castle, storming the gates and cutting down everyone in their path; it is this action that led Caeda to warn Marth. Marth's forces eventually reach Gazzak's stronghold and eventually defeat him.
