A Knight-Filled Sky/Script
As Marth and his companions approach the capital of Macedon, Michalis asks Gotoh to evacuate until the fighting ends. Gotoh makes one last effort to convince Michalis to surrender, which falls on deaf ears. Marth besieges Macedon, transforms the Lightsphere and Starsphere into Starlight, and defeats Michalis. He and Malledus lament how Michalis and Camus had their potential wasted by Gharnef's destructive war and prepare to make for Thabes.

Strategy

You have a major decision to make in this chapter - whether or not to sacrifice the Lightsphere and Starsphere to obtain Starlight and eventually Falchion. On the NES, Marth is one of the strongest units in the game and the Falchion makes him immune to 1-range attacks that don't come from mages or Manaketes, making this a no-brainer. On the DS, however, his stat spread makes it highly likely that he won't survive combat with Medeus even at level 30 without significant stat booster favoritism, and the Falchion is just an infinite durability Silver Sword that does effective damage against Manaketes. A simple forged Wyrmslayer would be superior for most purposes, and Tiki stands a much better chance against Medeus. It therefore may be a good idea to ignore Gotoh's village and keep the spheres for infinite durability for your best weapons. The choice, as always, is yours. Also note that this is the only chapter you can buy ballistae in bulk, so now's a good chance to stock up.
