Valor (Japanese: ヴァロール Valor), also known as the Dread Isle (Japanese: 魔の島 Demon's Island) is a plot-significant island appearing in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade.
History
The Scouring
It is unknown when the Dragon's Gate was built on Valor, but it was presumably during or before the Scouring. After their defeat, much of Dragonkind departed Elibe through the gate.
During the Scouring, Nergal and his children Ninian and Nils hid on Valor from the war. However, Nergal sent his children through the Dragon's Gate for their safety, and Nergal left Valor in search of his wife, Aenir.
Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade
During the events of Fire Emblem Nergal makes Valor Isle his and the Black Fang's base of operations. Nergal wishes to use the Dragon's Gate as a source of Draconic Quintessence.
Eliwood, Hector, and Lyn visit Valor twice during the events of Fire Emblem. First, Eliwood is seeking his missing father, Elbert. Their second visit is to finish off Nergal and his morph forces.
In gameplay
Valor serves as the setting for several chapters in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, including the final chapter.
