Validar (ファウダー, Fauda) is one of the main antagonists in Fire Emblem Awakening. He is the leader of the Grimleal, a cult from Plegia that worships the Fell Dragon Grima. Validar is a sorcerer who wields dark magic. He is the wielder of Grima's Truth.

Validar is the leader of the Grimleal, and after the timeskip, the king of Plegia. He is one of the primary catalysts behind the plot, with he and his group being the ones wishing for the revival of the Fell Dragon Grima. He reveals himself to be the father of the Avatar and wishes to use the Avatar as a vessel for Grima's resseruction.
