| Fortify (Japanese: リザーブ Reserve) is a high-level healing staff which debuted in FE1 and is available in every game of the main FES. While also appearing in Gaiden and its remake, Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, it instead served as a white magic spell. It is almost unique in its ability to heal a very large number of units at once with a single cast: while the amout of HP it restores is small-to-moderate and comparable to the basic Heal, it restores this amount to every allied unit within the staff's range, which in some games encompasses the entire battlefield. While its unique and potent abilities make it a valuable tool, it is held back by being rare and having very low durability. | | Fortify (Japanese: リザーブ Reserve) is a high-level healing staff which debuted in FE1 and is available in every game of the main FES. Fire Emblem Cipher
Fortify is present as a skill on two cards in Fire Emblem Cipher, both of which feature members of the Bishop class: B01-032HN Innocent Bishop, Maria, and B05-015HN Saint of Bern, Elen. It is a more powerful version of the Heal skill available on other cards. It is a manual-activation skill which, for a cost of flipping 3 bonds, allows the player to choose two discarded cards in their Retreat Area which depict different characters from each other, and which do not depict the current user of the skill, and add those cards to their hand.
