(I don't have a great strategy for this xenologue, but I'd say if you beat it for the first time in your save then I recommend you don't come back until you've leveled your characters some more before trying to get the regalia.)

Infinite Regalia is a downloadable content xenologue chapter in FE13. As a xenologue chapter, it does not officially bear a chapter number; if all xenologues are purchased and its list is viewed at the Outrealm Gate, Infinite Regalia is the sixth one from the top in the North American version of the game. Officially in Japan and unofficially in North America, Infinite Regalia is part of the first series of DLC releases, a distinction that does not exist in the PAL regions.

Having arrived in a ruined Outrealm, Chrom asks where the Shepherds have arrived this time, that the ruins they're in look like they've been ruined for ages; in succession, this is followed by Mus noting visitors have arrived from another world, Bovis asking if the Shepherds seek their treasures, and Tigris asking if that is why they have come. Chrom asks the figures who they are, to which Lepus introduces the group as the Deadlords, Draco stating that they are bodies of fallen warriors given purpose, and Anguilla stating that they are made to guard the treasures within these ruins; Chrom asks why the Deadlords are fallen warriors, that they appear healthy enough to him and even powerful. Equus states that, in their final hour was the hour that changed their world, Ovis revealed that they fought and paid the ultimate price, and Simia states that these forms are the only testament to their sacrifice. Chrom notes the Deadlords' tale as sad and asks if they have names; Mus, Bovis, Tigris, Lepus, and Draco introduce themselves, before Chrom cuts Anguilla off while she's introducing herself, saying he gets the idea that they all have names. Gallus state that they are a group of thirty-six standing guard to great treasures; Canis state that three paths lead to the Shepherds' reward--left, right, and center; Porcus states that if power, wisdom, and luck are the Shepherds' allies, they should summon them now. Battle preparations take place at this point; the battle begins once preparations are complete.

Battle preparations take place at this point; the battle begins once preparations are complete.

Once the battle finishes, Mus will note the Shepherds' accomplishments as impressive, with Bovis stating it honors them to trade blows with such mighty warriors, and Tigris stating that all thirty-six of them will start paying the Shepherds homage one by one; Chrom cuts off Tigris before he mentions who gets the first homage, with Chrom stating that the homages aren't necessary at all ever--the Shepherds need to get back to their own world and finish their struggle there. Lepus sees the Shepherds' cause as noble, with Draco stating that Chrom's decision is a pity all the same, with Anguilla asking Chrom if the Shepherds will return to visit again; Chrom asks Anguilla if the Deadlords want them to, asking if they're lonely. Equus states that they are the Deadlords, they do not succumb to mortal emotion; Ovis states that, from a good battle, they might derive from a bit of mortal pleasure; Simia states that if the Shepherds want more treasures, they may always find the Deadlords in this area, to which Chrom thanks Simia for the invitation and asking that they do indeed meet again. Gallus says they do wish to meet again, with Canis saying that all thirty-six of the Deadlords will wait, with Porcus stating that they will do so forever. Chrom starts silently speaking to Robin asking that they get out of there before the Deadlords start talking again; Mus reappears on the scene and reveals it occured to the group that they failed to give Chrom one last reward, with Chrom asking what it is. Tigris states that the card they're about to give houses an Einherjar, an old soul at that; Lepus reveals that Eldigan the Lionheart was one of the strongest of his time, with Draco stating that now his power belongs to the Shepherds, with Chrom thanking Draco and saying Eldigan's power is indeed in good hands. Anguilla asks Chrom if he enjoyed their reward and stating that the Shepherds must visit him again, with Equus asking if the Shepherds actually will visit them again. The player is prompted at this point if they want to add Eldigan to their party; if the player accepts, Eldigan says he swears to serve the Shepherds well.

En route out of the Outrealm, Chrom tells the Avatar he was starting to think they might never get out of that place; Equus interrupts and reveals that the Deadlords almost forgot that they have another gift for the Shepherds, with Chrom reacting. Ovis says that, in honor of the Shepherds' victory, that Chrom take the Silver Card; Chrom asks what the Silver Card does, with Simia revealing that the Silver Card allows the player to buy from shops at lower prices, with Gallus stating that Simia is correct--the same quality items at new low, low prices. Canis states that such material goods are of no concern to them, with Porcus stating that the Silver Card should be considered a pact--a promise that the Shepherds will indeed return to this Outrealm again, Chrom saying he's got it and thanks Porcus; Chrom then states that the Deadlords really don't get out much.

Infinite Regalia is a downloadable content xenologue chapter in Fire Emblem Awakening.

This chapter was first made available on May 24, 2012 in Japan, March 7, 2013 in North America, and May 23-24 in the PAL regions.

In this chapter, the Shepherds take on a very large group of Deadlords--thirty-six strong--in hopes of obtaining three very rare weapons under their guard.

Plot

Main article: Infinite Regalia/Script

Trivia

  • This chapter is one of three DLC chapters to include non-Risen generic enemy units (the others being Summer Scramble and Apotheosis). Of the three, this is the only one to include Risen, albeit of the non-generic Deadlord variety.
    • This chapter is the only one in the Golden Pack to have any fixed enemies, in this case the lead Mus and the four Thieves.
  • This chapter is one of four non-skirmish situations in Awakening to include the battle preparations phase to not adhere to the typical chapter deployment style of Chrom being the sole mandatory deployment; the others are The Golden Gaffe, EXPonential Growth, and chapter 23 of the vanilla game.
  • Tiki and the children characters recognize this chapter's Deadlords as having been created from Chrom and the Shepherds. This suggests this chapter may take place in a known ruined future, such as Lucina's original future or the realm of the Future Past series.
  • The final sequence of Deadlord dialogue slightly botches the established pattern; this sequence skips over Bovis and has Tigris follow Mus, then goes on to use Equus twice consecutively. The double usage of Equus suggests all of the dialogue between Mus and the second Equus was intended to be spoken by a different Deadlord than actually says the line.
  • This chapter is one of only two DLC chapters that are the third to be released within their three-chapter packs to not be released in conjunction with the first chapter of another pack in the North American region (the other being The Future Past 3); this chapter was instead released in conjunction with the second chapter of the Lost Bloodlines Pack.
  • This chapter is tied with Smash Brethren 3 as the highest-difficulty DLC chapter to have event tiles.
