|
The Brave Sword (Japanese: 勇者の剣 Hero's Sword) is an uncommon sword-type weapon in the Fire Emblem series. With a very unremarkable might and an average number of uses, this weapon's main appeal is that allows the user to double the number of hits they would normally deliver in a round of combat.
It first appeared in Fire Emblem Gaiden, acting more akin to the Killing Edge than its more familiar later form; this appearance and its remake in the main Fire Emblem series as well as Warriors are the only appearances of the Brave Sword where it doesn't serve as a brave weapon. The Brave Sword gained its modern mechanics in its second appearance, Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War; it has appeared in every game of the series since then.
Stats
In the main Fire Emblem series
Game | Icon | Level | Might | Weight | Hit | Crit | Range | Uses | Worth | WEXP | Other effects and notes |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Gaiden | Sword | 5 | 0 | 100 | 30 | 1 | -- | -- | -- | -- | |
Genealogy of the Holy War | B | 12 | 3 | 100 | -- | 1 | 50 | 8,000 | -- | Strikes twice consecutively. Second strike is treated as a guaranteed Adept activation, leaving the Adept skill redundant if present. Second attack inherits any Astra, Luna, or Sol activation from the first attack and does not activate them independently. Critical hit is checked independently on each strike. | |
