Strategy
This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody. |
Due to the way the map is set up, you might want to bring a flier with a Chest Key. In fact, having fliers in general is good for this map since the terrain is rather inimical to ground units. Your first priority is rescuing the villagers. Fortunately, they can take a bump or three and are fairly sensible with their Vulneraries, so as long as you move fast and make good use of Physic you shouldn't have too much trouble saving them. You should also send a Thief to loot the northwest chest and send that flier with the Chest Key to grab the southern chest. As far as the Knights of Seiros go, there's no reward for keeping the generic Soldiers alive and Jeralt is more than capable of handling himself against the berserk villagers. Once Solon reveals himself, the Death Knight pops up, ready for round three. By this point, you shouldn't have too much trouble dealing with him; Dark Spikes Τ is amazing as always, and well-leveled Fortress Knights like Edelgard, Dedue, and Raphael should be able to tank his attacks by this point. Once you've saved all of the villagers, Jeralt aggros, which is the signal to finish up the map. Grab all the loot and waste Solon; he's slow as dirt and has barely any physical bulk, so he's a pushover.
Trivia
- When fighting against the Rampaging Villager enemies, playable units will sometimes not say any of their victory or level up quotes.
