Other leftovers
Every staff has assigned hit and weight stats. However, they are not used by the game at all. It is possible that staves originally were planned on working closer to their mechanics in Thracia 776, in which staves could miss and do follow-up "attacks". Status staves can still miss, but they use all use a hit of 30 rather than the staves' assigned hit rates.

Classes
There are unused female versions of the Mercenary, Cavalier, and Paladin. The Cavalier and Paladin's map sprites are unfinished and have an improper palette, with the standing-still and cursor-hovering map animations being those of the Fighter. Of the moving animations, which are finished (aside from the palette), they are edits of earlier versions of the male equivalents, but with a ponytail instead of a helmet. While the next two GBA games would introduce female Paladins and Cavaliers, they would simply use the same map animations as the male ones.
There are separate Fire Dragon and Divine Dragon classes. Their moving map animations are seen when a Manakete attacks with battle animations turned off, but their stats are unused, and their non-moving map animations are unused and unfinished, featuring only the head.
