Kriemhild
| ||||
|
The Kriemhild (Japanese: クリムヒルド Kriemhild) is a lance which was introduced in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. It is wielded by Berkut in his appearance as a boss in Act 5. It has the longest range of any lance in the game, which combined with its respectable might and good hit makes approaching Berkut to attack a dangerous prospect. It also gives him strong defensive abilities by providing both boosts to his defensive stats and the Phantasm skill, which reduces the damage he takes from bows and black magic: the only weapon types which can attack him from a far enough distance that he cannot counter-attack.

Fire Emblem Cipher
Kriemhild is present as a skill on one of Berkut's cards in Fire Emblem Cipher: B09-046R Delusions of Conquest, Berkut. It is a manual-activation skill which, for a cost of discarding one untapped ally unit in play, grants Berkut +10 attack and 1-3 range until the opponent's next turn ends.
Trivia
- Kriemhild's design may be intended to be a corrupted version of Duma's Lance; both weapons feature a claw-like tri-pronged head, spikes resembling Duma's horns at the base of the head, and a red centerpiece: a gem on Duma's Lance and a red eye on Kriemhild.
- A sword known as Kriemhild appears in TearRing Saga Series: Berwick Saga, although the katakana spelling is different.
