Floor - I believe this is "external" floor, used in maps such as Gronder Field and Fhirdiad, vs. internal floor, used in maps such as the Holy Tomb or Conand Tower; unknown if there are any mechanical differences. Notably, internal floors are used in Magdred Way, Tailtean Plains, and Kingdom Territory.
Crater - Mechanically identical as far as I can tell. There seem to be two rhythms to the pulsing glow of the craters in Ch 14 that correlates to the two types of craters; i.e. all craters of one type follow one rhythm, all of the other follow another.
Wall - Mechanically identical; seems to be purely visual difference of stone walls and wooden fences.

Peak: Terrain that cannot be crossed.

Railing: Terrain that is navigable only<br>by fliers.
Bonfire: Terrain that cannot be crossed,<br>except by fliers.
Flames: Causes damage with each turn.<br>Has no effect on fliers.
Sky: Terrain that cannot be crossed,<br>except by fliers.
Snowfield: Terrain with no special effects.
Healstone: Restores Battalion Endurance<br>with each turn.

Monsters that occupy multiple spaces calculate the cost of moving at their top-left tile; they use the terrain effects of the tile relevant to combat (e.g. if a monster's top-left tile is on a forest and their top-right on a plain, they use the effects of the forest when a unit attacks the top-left tile and the effects of the plain when a unit attacks the top-right).

Flame terrain is applied to any Grassland, Forest, Thicket, Wasteland, House, Edifice, Church, or Opera Hall terrain within the area-of-effect of any fire-based Gambit[Note 1] or Staggering Blow;[Note 2] the HP penalty applies, but all other stat boosts and movement costs are retained from the original terrain.
