The Guardian Golem (Japanese: 守護ゴーレム Protection golem) is a monster class which debuted in the Fire Emblem: Three Houses expansion Cindered Shadows. It is a heavily armored mechanical figure that seems to have been created by the Church of Seiros, built for the purpose of protecting the Chalice of Beginnings. It acts as an even stronger successor to the Golem and Altered Golem.

Though the Guardian Golem lacks proper programmed stats, they tend to be defensively strong, having high defense as well as three large health bars. Unlike most monsters, the Guardian Golem attacks using lances, which are made of powerful magic. Their offenses are devastatingly strong, with exceedingly high magic and dexterity that ensure they hit hard and accurately. Their latent abilities make them even more dangerous, with Lethality giving them a high chance of instantly killing any target, and Quick Riposte denying enemy follow-up attacks while granting them one. Though their resistance is lacking, their barrier ability, Anti-Magic Armor, provides them protection against magic attacks.

Overall, its overwhelming power and strong defenses render it more of an obstacle to be avoided at all costs, rather than an opponent to be fought head-on. However, they have low speed and movement, and, like most monsters in the game, their large size prevents them from moving through one-space-wide areas, further limiting their mobility; this gives players more of a chance to avoid it properly.
