The three primary countries on the continent of Fódlan are Adrestia to the south, Faerghus to the north, and Leicester to the east. In the center of the continent is the Garreg Mach Monastery, which houses the Church of Seiros and the Officer's Academy. There are also several minor locations. Hresvelgr (in southern Adrestia), Blaidad (in northern Faerghus), and Regan (in northern Leicester) are notable for sharing their names with the surnames of the main characters [[Edelgard]], [[Dimitri]], and [[Claude]], respectively. Several other minor nations surround the Fódlan mainland: Morfis to the southeast, Almyra to the northeast, Sreng to the north, Albinoa to the northwest, and Brigid to the southwest.
