(Japanese: エマ Emma) is a character introduced in the Fire Emblem Cipher trading card game. She is a Sky Knight from Hoshido. She is acquainted with the dark mage Shade and the Samurai Yuzu. Her first appearance as a character in a mainline Fire Emblem series title is as a playable downloadable character in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.
Fire Emblem Cipher
Role
While she is simply a trading card character she, and Shade, serve as introductory characters on the Fire Emblem 0 (Cipher) website. They are both characters made for the trading card game istelf. They both have their own column on the site where they discuss various aspects and events concerning the development of the trading card game, with the first one being an introduction to the new TCG as a whole. Five other characters have since joined the column.
While she is from Hoshido, she does not make any appearances in any of Fire Emblem Fates's various campaigns or downloadable content.
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia
Role
Emma appears as a downloadable playable character in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.
Emma, on her multi-world travels with Randal, Shade, and Yuzu, ends up in Valentia. Unfortunately, the group ends up split in two pairs, Emma having ended up with Randal. The two set off to find Shade and Yuzu, but during their search Randal cheats some men out of their money in a gambling match. Emma is upset at this, though she still goes to find help to fight off the angry men after Randal. Either Celica's or Alm's group comes to their assistance. Emma is very grateful of this and makes Randal promise to stop his gambling habits, to which he agrees.
Emma accompanies whoever saved her and Randal for the rest of the game, though what exactly she accomplishes with Alm or Celica depends on when in the story she was saved.

Personality and character
Unlike Shade, Emma is fairly inexperienced and ignorant. Somewhat amusingly, she is not even aware of what a TCG is. She is very cheerful, but seems to fluster easily. She always strives to better herself and further her training, being a fledgling sky knight.
