The Corsair Isles/Script
At the island stronghold, the captive priestess Safy begs Lifis to join the fight against the Loptrian Empire. He apparently agrees, but later admits he only said that to keep her quiet. Meanwhile, Leif's forces arrive on the island, battle their way through the pirates, and capture Lifis. Leif rescues Safy, who reveals that her hometown of Tarrah is being oppressed by the Loptrian Empire. Leif immediately agrees to liberate Tarrah, and Lifis manages to persuade Leif to spare him and take him along.

Strategy
This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody. |

Don't be too intimidated by the fog of war; selecting a unit to move will still show their respective movement path, so putting a unit like Eyvel in the front can help with showing the way. Don't be too concerned with getting the torches either, as some later enemy units have them, and they can be bought in later vendors.
Be sure to capture Lifis with a unit with high constitution and simply seize the throne with Leif. Also, leave Shiva alone unless you don't plan to recruit him later, but you can capture him to get your hands on his Killing Edge.
Trivia
- This is the first chapter in the Fire Emblem series to feature fog of war.
