The Dragon Axe first appeared as an event-distributed item in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade; the only other main line game it appears in, Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, allows the Dragon Axe to be obtained via normal gameplay. The Dragon Axe also appears in Fire Emblem Warriors with the same property, bonus damage against dragons, as its previous appearances.

Trivia

  • The Dragon Axe's The Blazing Blade help text is too long; it overflows after "An axe designed to strike" and causes graphical glitches. The full string is "An axe designed to strike down wyverns." with a line break after "strike". The PAL release corrects it despite the item being entirely unused in PAL regions.
