Analysis
This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience.
|
Homer has a high follow-up critical multiplier, high skill and speed growths, and access to basic light magic, allowing him to excel in combat against most enemies, as well as Paragon, which increases the rate Homer levels up, thus increasing the rate at which he can utilize his good growths and allowing him to promote to Sage sooner. Upon promotion, he is granted access to staves, furthering his utility. Homer's defense is low, however, and he cannot withstand many attacks from even weaker enemies. Additionally, his Lightning tome is the only one available until Chapter 22, and it may be better utilized by another unit, such as Sara, Linoan, or a promoted Asbel.

Homer, Traveling Bard
Homer toured the entirety of Thracia, performing in every city, big or small. Everywhere he went, he sang the heroic saga of Leif. Based on his first-hand experience in Leif's army, his song was universally beloved, and became a staple of Thracian culture.
