Analysis

Bow users are generally considered to be incredibly weak in Thracia 776, and Tanya is no exception.
Tanya suffers from many weaknesses, one of which being her low starting weapon rank. While this is to be expected from a unit recruited in chapter 1, most of the higher ranking bows in Thracia 776 require a B rank or higher meaning that Tanya will be stuck using either iron bows or steel bows for most of the game if you decide to raise her. Even further, Tanya's low base build and build growth will cause her to be weighed down by every single bow in the game. On top of this, Tanya has a very low base strength of 3 and a mediocre strength growth of 35% which will further dampen her damage output. Tanya is also constantly restricted to bows, meaning that she will never be able to attack at melee range or capture enemy units, thus weakening her viability.

Tanya does have some strengths, such as a high speed growth of 70% and a PCC of 2. However, Tanya's speed growth will still not be enough to make up for the fact that she will be weighed down by all of the higher tier bows in Thracia 776. Tanya also includes a support bonus with Orsin, who is considered to be a strong unit, but even these bonuses are not enough to justify fielding Tanya. Ultimately, Tanya's strengths do not make up for her drastic flaws.

You will mostly use Tanya on the earlier chapters to do some meager chip damage, but benching her as soon as possible is advised.
