Orsin's Hatchet (Japanese: オーシンの投げ斧 Othin's Throwing Axe) is a ranged axe which is exclusive to Fire Emblem Awakening. It is one of a number of weapons named for characters from earlier Fire Emblem series installments, as it references Orsin, a character from Fire Emblem: Thracia 776.

Trivia

  • The battle model of Orsin's Hatchet is an exact match for the design of Pugi, the personal axe of Orsin himself in Thracia 776. The axe even fills a similar role that Pugi did as a ranged axe, although it is much weaker.
  • Orsin's Hatchet is the only one of the character-named weapons in Awakening to be named for a character who is not available as a playable bonus unit in the game through SpotPass or DLC.
    • It is also one of only two such items as a whole, the other being Kris's Confect.
