“ | My humble thanks, Corrin. You have much to do. Still you came. I would ask for a bold battle. Do not hold back. Now, are you ready? No matter how often I step into battle, it's this moment that makes our fate. | ” | — Marth |

Hero-King Marth (Japanese: 英雄王マルス Hero-King Marth) is a Hero Battle in Fire Emblem Fates, activated by scanning the Marth amiibo for the third time. It pits the player against Marth and some units, known as "Illusions", described as the shades of former soldiers, who represent the starting party of Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light. It takes place on the map of chapter 6.

- Note: Jakob is available if Corrin is female. Felicia is available if Corrin is female and has completed Chapter 15.
- Note 2: The returning characters list only those recruited by the time this chapter is unlocked. As a bonus chapter, there is no set timeframe in which the chapter must be taken on; thus, it is possible to have recruited more characters than the above by the point the chapter is started. The returning characters list also does not include any characters recruitable in paralogues, as the player may not have taken on any available paralogue chapters yet. The list also does not include any other bonus units, as they are recruitable at the player's discretion.

Trivia
- The theme that plays when in combat against Marth, "Path of the Hero-King", is a mix of "Strike!" and "Trouble!" from Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, as well as "Early Initiative" from Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem, both games in which Marth is the main character.
