Doting Staff (Japanese: 慈母の霊杖 Spirit staff of an affectionate mother) is a weapon skill in the staff category which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; it is a personal weapon of the dream variation of Mikoto. The Doting Staff can be considered a direct upgrade to Mikoto's default Flash, preventing foes from counterattacking and granting a boost to its user's Attack and Speed stats during combat in addition to inflicting counterattack prevention as a status on enemies within a certain range. When refined, it additionally allows the user to limit additional movement granted by skills with the Canto effect.
