The Thunderbolt (Japanese: サンダーボルト Thunderbolt) is a ballista weapon which debuted in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light, and is used exclusively by the ballisticians of Archanea. In later games, it is fueled by the wielder's Magic stat instead of their Strength, and targets the enemy's Resistance instead of Defense. It is designed to be an anti-ballista weapon and deals bonus damage to other ballisticians by firing electrified bolts.
