Distant Guard (Japanese: 救援の行路 Rescue Path) is a three-tiered passive type C skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; the individual tiers of the skill are known as Distant Guard 1, Distant Guard 2, and Distant Guard 3 in order from lowest to highest. Units with a Distant Guard skill allows their wielders' nearby allies to get boosts to their defensive skills during combat when fighting users of ranged-attacking skills; the size of the allies' boosts increase with the skill's tier.
