Tragic Soldiers (Japanese: 悲しき戦士たち Tragic Soldiers) is the fourth chapter in TearRing Saga: Yutona Heroes War Chronicles.

Plot

Main article: TearRingSaga:Tragic Soldiers/Script

Mahter meets Runan's forces to bring Enteh back to the Temple of Mars, but Enteh convinces her to lend her strength to Runan. Meanwhile, Roger marches against Runan despite his fiancée Mel's protests. During the battle, Runan recruits two new comrades: Vega, an assassin hired to kill Julia for her alleged murder of a duke, and Raquel, a master archer who refuses to kill humans.

Runan outmaneuvers Roger and seizes the fort, forcing him and his soldiers to retreat. When Eugen questions how easy it was to capture Codha's estate, Marlon deduces that Codha has retreated to Fort Wellt. He reveals that Codha cannot count on the royal knights for support and that the neutral nobles have not answered Codha's call to arms. Marlon and Eugen decide to request aid from Ezenbah at the Temple of Mars despite Runan being reluctant to drag him into his affairs and Enteh believing he will not sully himself with the affairs of a secular squabble.

At the Temple, Ezenbah summons his grandson Maruju and orders him to warn Enteh to stay away from the Temple. Guenchaos arrives, and Ezenbah vows to destroy the monster he has become in honor of the friend he once was.
