Medusa

(Japanese: メデューサ Medusa) is a black magic spell appearing exclusively in Fire Emblem Gaiden. Medusa is a mid-range spell capable of instantly dropping the target's HP down to 1. If Medusa targets a unit already that weak, it instantly kills them.

Trivia
- It appears that Medusa is an actual entity in Gaiden, as the Sorcerer, Nuibaba, mentions it is time for her to fulfill her contract with him when engaged in combat.[1] The introduction to his map also states that he sold his soul.[2]
