Kris Knife |
A kris (derived from the Old Javanese ꦔꦶꦫꦶꦱ꧀ ngiris, "to slice") is a type of dagger which is believed to have originated as early as the third century BC in southeast Asia. It is distinguished by its wavy, snake-like blade and is most prominently tied to the culture of Java, one of the islands which comprise modern Indonesia, although it is present in many southeast Asian cultures. |
