The Hatchet (Japanese: なげおの Throwing Axe) is a ranged axe exclusive to Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. It is a lighter and more accurate counterpart to the Hand Axe with greatly improved durability. However, it is balanced by being significantly weaker than the Hand Axe and being only available once in the entire game, being found in Ross's possession when he joins the party.
