The Great Ballista (Japanese: グレートアーチ Great Arch) is a model of ballista that has never made an official appearance in the Fire Emblem series--Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, the only time it appeared in a game's coding, had the Great Ballista go unused.

In Genealogy of the Holy War, Great Ballistae were - like all ballista variants - intended to be enemy-only and used by units of a class specific to the weapon; the class in question also went unused. They would not have been stolen owing to their immense weight. Enemies wielding great ballistae would have had no movement and would have been effectively fixed in place. The Great Ballista, had it been used, would have been the most powerful ballista in the Fire Emblem series, out-mighting the Radiant Dawn version of the Iron Ballista by 2 Might; it, however, would have also tied for the least-accurate ballista in the series with non-Mystery of the Emblem versions of Stonehoist and Thracia 776's Poison Ballista.
