The Aqqar (Japanese: アクゥアル Aqqar) is a rare crossbow weapon which appears only in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. It is the game's second-strongest crossbow; compared to the crossbow it immediately surpasses, the Taksh, the Aqqar has higher might but does not have a crit bonus.
Like the other crossbows but unlike regular bows, the Aqqar can can attack adjacent and distant enemies alike. In exchange its damage calculation completely ignores the user's strength stat and is based only on its own might, giving it a fixed, mostly consistent damage output no matter who uses it. The Aqqar can only be used by members of the Sniper, Marksman, Warrior, and Reaver classes, like all crossbows.
