The Sentinel (Japanese:
Sentinels are roughly a lance-wielding counterpart to Trueblades, Reavers and Marksmen, and distinguish themselves with stats that help them perform a bulky offensive role. Their raw strength is stellar, and while their speed and skill are below average, their defense is impressive for a class outside the Knight family. Owing to being both powerful and durable, Sentinels tend to be excellent front-line units and, unlike the Knight family, have movement decent enough to allow them to keep up. Their primary flaws are their speed which, while not terrible, may lead to them being more readily doubled by Trueblades and other faster classes; and their resistance, which is as mediocre as any other physically inclined class. Sentinels are also aided by their exclusive access to the Impale skill, which if activated has a very high chance of taking out a foe in a single blow.
